Why Did Homeland Security Put Up CCTV At A Home Where A UFO Allegedly Went Down?

Sunset over Earth

In the latest UFO news, a Las Vegas family claimed that aliens crash landed in their backyard and the Department of Homeland Security shockingly responded by installing surveillance cameras on their home.

One of the family members called 911 in the early hours of May 1, stating that his family witnessed an object falling from the sky and crashing into their backyard.

They further claimed that an alien emerged from the landing site, describing it as an 8-foot tall figure with big eyes.

The frightened family insisted that they were not kidding and expressed their terror to the dispatcher.

“I swear to God this is not a joke, this is actually — we’re terrified,” the man told the dispatcher.

Responding to the call, two Las Vegas Metro police officers were dispatched to the scene.

Prior to their arrival, the officers themselves had witnessed an unidentified streak across the sky over a half an hour earlier.

Remarkably, one officer’s body camera captured footage of the object, which was reportedly seen as far as Utah and Nevada.

Upon interviewing the family and examining the backyard, the officers acknowledged their partner’s observation of something falling from the sky.

“I’m not going to BS, you guys. One of my partners said they saw something fall out of the sky, too,” the patrolman said.

“So that’s why I’m kind of curious,” he continued. “Did you see anything land in your backyard?”

“I don’t believe in it but what I saw right now, I do believe in it,” a witness said as they led the officers into the backyard.

“You guys seem like legit scared so I don’t blame you,” the policeman replied.

The witnesses, still visibly terrified, confirmed the event and led the officers to the circular imprint in the dirt. Despite the absence of actual aliens, investigators spent several days scrutinizing the scene before ultimately closing the case without any conclusive evidence.

Adding to the intrigue, the Department of Homeland Security within the Las Vegas Metro Police Department installed professional-grade video surveillance cameras outside the family’s home.

Crime podcaster Doug Poppa, who had his doubts about UFOs, interviewed the family and found the presence of such high-quality equipment on the roof to be particularly unusual.

“The mother told me they came out there and put up the cameras, supposedly to protect the family from people coming to bother them about the UFO,” Poppa told the New York Post.

The bizarre incident left both the family and authorities perplexed, fueling curiosity about potential extraterrestrial encounters.
